Taiwan – Silicon Power Computer & Communications Inc. has released the DDR III 1066 SO-DIMM compatible with Windows Vista and suitable for use with PC gaming applications. Available in 1GB and 2GB capacity, the DDR3 memory module incorporates an Automatic Self-Refresh (ASR) design that reduces the temperature and power consumption. It features 1,066Mbps speed and 8.5GB/s bandwidth with CL7 timing. It has six (1GB) and eight (2GB) PCB layers, as well as 204 pins. The 1.5V unit complies with the JEDEC standard.
